The National Test Agency (NTA) has published the official Chemistry syllabus of JEE Main. NCERT Books: NCERT Chemistry books on their own are not enough to answer every question asked in JEE, and you have to read other authors books as well for holistic JEE Chemistry preparation. But that being said they are the most reliable material for making the basic concepts of all the topics covered in the syllabus. You must especially pay attention to the highlighted exercises presented in these books, as they are the key to knowing basic concepts of the subject and pave the way for you to get concepts you will come across in higher-level chemistry texts like Atkins.
